Hailey Baker, MSN, WHNP-BC, ARNP began her career at Seattle Reproductive Medicine in 2016 and instantly discovered a passion for reproductive medicine. She completed her Bachelors of Science in Nursing (BSN) at Gonzaga University in Spokane, Washington and her clinical programs focused on empowering under served women in the local community and also sustainable reproductive health programs in Zambia, Africa. This passion for women’s healthcare across the lifespan led to her first job as a labor and delivery nurse and then fertility.
SRM quickly became a second home to Hailey as she built meaningful relationships with the Physician and Nurse Practitioner team who inspired her to pursue her Advanced Practice Registered Nursing degree. Hailey graduated summa cum laude from Frontier Nursing University becoming a board-certified Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner. Following her master’s degree, she completed her Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) degree with an emphasis on mental wellness and stress management for fertility patients and SRM employees.
With her specialized degree, she is an expert on both fertility and also the complexity of physical, emotional, and spiritual health needs. With a focus on preconception, PCOS wellness, fertility preservation, donor insemination, and men’s reproductive health, she promotes holistic and individualized tools that incorporate mindfulness, goal setting, movement, intuitive eating and safe supplements, all paired with reproductive technology to achieve optimal outcomes. Knowing the intense highs and lows of treatment, Hailey has helped lead several fertility support groups and has led yoga and meditation classes. She is a certified yoga instructor and plans to obtain her full fertility yoga certification soon. Her commitment to the community also ascends to the national level in her work with SRM’s advocacy committee and also with RESOLVE, The National Fertility Association. In May of 2019 she attended Resolve’s political advocacy day in Washington DC to promote better access to reproductive healthcare.
Hailey feels she is fortunate to routinely work at many of the SRM clinics including Bellevue, Kirkland, Seattle, and Tacoma. When you don’t see her smiling face around the clinic, Hailey is often found running – either out on the beautiful pacific northwest trails or with her many running groups – or relaxing with yoga, crafting, or weekend trips. As a Washington native she is lucky to be surrounded by a wonderful large family and many life-long friends.
