We are privileged to walk beside you during your journey to parenthood. The following information will help you feel prepared and at ease during your initial visit with us.

Your First Visit

Update May 2020 – Your Telemedicine Consult – We have created an informative blog post with quick tips and a FAQ for optimizing your telemedicine consultation. We had to pivot and go virtual with all of our consultations due to the coronavirus.  This has helped tremendously at decreasing foot traffic in the clinic, so we can adhere to social distancing and decreasing risk to our patients and staff.

Your initial consultation at SRM is an opportunity for us to get to know you and your partner. Although not necessary, it is recommended that your partner accompany you to this appointment. You will meet your reproductive endocrinologist to review your medical and fertility history; this generally takes 30–60 minutes. Your physician will also perform a routine fertility assessment and may recommend a vaginal ultrasound and/or blood work during this visit. It is not necessary to fast for the blood work.

At the end of your visit, you will meet your nurse. Your nurse will work with you to ensure you understand all the recommended diagnostic testing and treatment options, and to go over any questions you may have.
