Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care
The SRM Surgical Center has voluntarily sought accreditation through the Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care (AAAHC). Achieving accreditation means that we have undergone a thorough review of our policies and have met nationally recognized standards to offer the highest quality of health care.
College for American Pathologists
The SRM lab is accredited by the College for American Pathologists (CAP). This means it has been found to meet the standards of the College's Commission on Laboratory Accreditation. CAP, in collaboration with the American Society for Reproductive Medicine (ASRM), has developed an accreditation program specifically designed for the unique needs of reproductive laboratories. The CAP inspection program is designed to ensure the highest standards of excellence in all areas of the lab. CAP inspectors examine records and quality control indicators, including staff qualifications, equipment, facilities, safety programs and records, and overall lab management.
Society for Assisted Reproductive Technology
SRM is a member of the Society for Assisted Reproductive Technology (SART). SART members are held to the highest professional standards, and member practices follow strict guidelines in data collection and reporting. All embryology laboratories must be accredited every two years by CAP, JCAHO, or NYSTB.
Society for Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility
SRM Physicians are member physicians of the Society for Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility (SREI). Members of SREI are dedicated to providing excellence in Reproductive Health through research, education, and patient care. SREI members must devote at least 13 years to medical training and patient care before achieving subspecialty certification. Membership in the SREI is strictly limited to physicians who have been certified in the subspecialty of Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Although many physicians may provide care for infertility, fewer than 1,000 physicians have achieved the very special distinction of SREI membership.
Integramed
SRM is part of IntegraMed® America, the largest most reputable fertility network in the country. With nearly 160 reproductive endocrinologists and embryologists in 87 locations across the United States, Integramed practices have done more research in the field of infertility and treated more patients than any other physician consortium.
