Kimberly Sobolik, RN

Kimberly joined SRM in April 2007 as a RN specifically assigned to the active and busy Seattle Reproductive Surgery Center (SRSC), managing the clinical volume and administrative needs of this fully accredited AAAHC operating room. She comes to us with previous OR experience in plastic surgery and understands the needs of an independent operating room suite. Prior to that, she played "mom" for many years and charge nurse at Providence Medical Center in Yakima, WA.

From her experience, at SRSC, she currently implements, evaluates, and provides preoperative, intraoperative and postoperative care for all surgical procedures in the SRSC. Additionally, she administrates surgeries that occur outside of the SRSC at the local hospital depending on physician preference and insurance issues. Administratively, she handles all inventory, maintains all SRSC equipment to be fully operational and repair, if needed, trains any SRM personnel in the proper utilization of the SRSC and, most importantly, "takes care" of our anesthesiologists and in-house urologist such that their needs are met to take care of our patients. With our AAAHC accreditation which governs the high quality care we provide in the SRSC, she provides the necessary education for proper documentation and maintains the important SRSC policies and procedures.

Some of her hobbies and interests are cooking, kick boxing, and being a Mom.

"I enjoy working at SRM because there is always a positive atmosphere and great teamwork within the staff , I hope this really reflects on the patients during their last stages of a potentially stressful and long journey."
