Amy Smith, JD
Amy was born and raised in Rochester, MN. Her career toward
fertility care is quite interesting. She received her certificate
of Performing Arts from The San Francisco School of the Arts
in 1994; her B.A. in Near Eastern Languages and Civilizations
from the University of Washington focusing on Arabic language
and Middle Eastern politics in 1997; and her Law Degree from
Seattle University School of Law in 2002.
While practicing immigration and family law, Amy became interested
in 3rd party reproduction law. She has been a key player in
the development of SRM's Donor Egg Program since the beginning
and is responsible for the recruitment of all SRM egg donors.
She assists in helping the donors complete their screening
requirements and matching donors and recipients. She has been
instrumental in developing and maintaining SRM's online donor
profiles providing recipients with a convenient way to search
for donors. She is a founding member and board member of the
Seattle Tacoma Area Reproductive Society (STARS) and is an
active member of the Washington State Bar Association.
"I strive to provide SRM recipients with top quality
egg donors based on the recipients' specifications and to
make the donor matching process as smooth and easy as possible."
