Lindsey Rounsefell
Born in Southern California, Lindsey was raised in the Seattle
area. She attended the University of Washington, receiving
a BS in Psychology in 2003. Lindsey is currently applying
to nursing programs, with the ultimate goal of becoming a
nurse practitioner.
Prior to working at SRM, Lindsey worked as a research study
assistant at the University of Washington Autism Center. This
was a great opportunity to work with diverse populations of
parents and help them through what could be very challenging
times, a skill that has been very useful here at SRM. Lindsey
joined the donor team near its inception and has been a key
figure in developing many of its protocols and procedures.
Lindsey assists both recipients and donors to complete all
screening requirements and closely monitors donors through
their active donation cycle.
“I enjoy building relationships and seeing the entire
donation process from both the donor and recipient perspectives.
It is my goal to guide both recipients and donors down what
can be a very uncertain path with as much kindness, empathy,
and direction as possible.”
