Stephanie Fisher, BS
Stephanie demonstrates a well-balanced calmness to a job
that can be highly stressful both in time and successful pregnancy
outcome. Because of these attributes, since her arrival
in April, 2004, Stephanie as a clinical embryologist has developed
rapidly well beyond what is expected. The SRM physicians
recognized her enormous potential and talent and recruited
her to join SRM in the fall of 2004. Stephanie
received her Bachelor of Science in Biology, with a minor
in Business Administration in 2001 from Washington State University
(the only “Cougar” amongst the “Huskies”
in the embryology lab). Her previous work experience includes
tissue processing and inventory of specimens at LifeSpan BioSciences
and specimen collection for an ovarian cancer research program
at Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center. As a result,
she is very experienced in the procedural detail necessary
to work in a tightly controlled environment such as the SRM
embryology laboratory.
On a personal note, she likes to snowboard, wakeboard, read,
and travel. “And I love Mexican food and walking around
Greenlake.”
