Mari Eddy, RN

Mari joined SRM in the summer of 2007 during our rapid expansion phase of SRM. Having graduated from Western Washington University with her Bachelor of Arts degree in the Human Services Program, Mari was always interested in helping people. After graduating from Western, Mari worked as a Patient Care Coordinator at Planned Parenthood of Western Washington for three years. Through her work at Planned Parenthood, Mari discovered her true passion: being a nurse. She worked two jobs as a Health Worker in the Seattle Medical and Wellness Clinic and worked per diem at Planned Parenthood of Western Washington while studying to be a RN at Seattle University. She also worked as a Nurse Technician at the University of Washington Medical Center. It was a busy time for her.

Trying to find her niche after receiving her RN degree, she worked as a staff RN at Children's Hospital Medical Unit, a per diem RN at Planned Parenthood and staff RN at a private practice, Ballard Pediatric Clinic. Making the switch to reproductive medicine and women's health, she joined SRM with a clean slate.

On a more personal note, Mari likes to read, knit and make jewelry. She also likes biking and travel. Her next destination: Tokyo, Japan, to visit friends. She is a native of the Seattle area.

"I wanted to find a position that would allow me to utilize my background in counseling with my nursing skills and provide intellectual stimulation. The opportunity at SRM is the best of all possible worlds for me. It is an honor and privilege to get to know our patients and help guide them through the process of becoming parents."
