Ellen Chong, RN

Ellen joined SRM in 10/07. Having graduated from the University of Washington with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing, she started her healthcare career as a clinic services representative in women's healthcare at Virginia Mason Medical Center. She initially became familiar with our subspecialty by working as a clinic services representative at the Virginia Mason Fertility Center. After that facility closed, she moved on to being a nursing technician in orthopedics and general medicine unit for several years prior to earning her nursing degree. She currently works during the week as a RN in the critical care unit at Virginia Mason, and on the weekends here at SRM as a ferility specialist nurse.

On a more personal note, she enjoys photography, exploring downtown Seattle and spending time with her family.

Ellen joined SRM because of the great team of people and her desire to continue and advance her knowledge in the field of reproductive medicine. She always looks forward to working closely with our patients to help make the process of going through fertility treatments easier.

Ellen works with SRM only on the weekends. Some visits may require weekend visits, i.e. US's, IUI's, bloodwork, etc. and you may interact with her during those visits.
